About Us

Steering Committee and Members

Our members are parents and carers of people with a disability, providers of services for people with a disability, and of course, people with a disability.

Our Steering Committee is made up of volunteers who work, care for, educate and play with people with a disability.

We are all committed to the rights of all people to feel safe and have choice in where they make their home.

Our history

in 2015 Uniting Care Harrison and Knox City Council began hosting a regular network for anyone interested/concerned about the issue of housing for people with a disability. In 2023 we are a supported group of volunteers who carry on what is now a fantastic community.

We hope that this network will continue to be a valuable space for sharing information, exchange of ideas, identifying gaps, barriers, opportunities, and for developing new projects, collaborations and solutions, for networking, and for developing advocacy campaigns.
